And we are off

Exciting day, here we are ready to start our adventure. October 16th. We all made it to the airport in great time, thank you to the skilled drivers. Students' luggage weighed in and 22 very excited people through the gates and the adventure starts, yikes it's so ser real!!!. We are on our way. Fantastic.
Air France was wonderful to fly with and a great flight, not too bumpy. We all said we would sleep on the plane because it was a 6-7 hour flight and with the time difference we would land in Paris early am following day, which just seems so strange. But I think we were too excited because no one slept. lol and that's why we can call it a red eye flight. From Paris airport we connected to a TGV bullet train to get to Strasbourg, which was great some students slept on the train (closer to the ground,I guess). Arrived in Strasbourg at 1:00pm local time. Our coordinator Julia (Biggie) Barbi was waiting for us, 22 tired, jetlaged, very excited and happy Canadians... on route bag and baggage to our home for 10 weeks.
