T-Minus 9 Hours

Hello fello bloggers!
Today is THE DAY that we depart.
In approximately nine hours (why yes, I'm up at 1 a.m.) we will all be reporting to the airport, and I am more than excited to get to traveling, traveling, traveling!

I've been packing throughout the past few weeks...well, more or less throwing everything that I "may" need into a massive pile that would call for further filtration.

Between our professor's tips, online resources, and friend's advice, I've learned some very helpful travel tips!

One tip included rolling clothes, putting the articles into large (freezer) zip-lock bags, and then letting the air out. This works as if vacuum sealing, however, also allows for emergency zip-locks and storage to keep dirty clothes separated from clean clothes.

Another packing tip included leaving a lot of free space inside of luggage. This is helpful for making sure that it doesn't weigh too much, as well as allowing for room to bring souvenirs and other goodies home! (Not overpacking is a lot harder than one may think....at least, for me it is.)

After being all packed and ready to go, we will all arrive at our separate, hometown airports, in which we will then fly out to meet at the DFW airport in Dallas, Texas.

Once the entire group has assembled,
our next destination will be Frankfurt, Germany!
The expected weather forecast upon our arrival in Frankfurt is a high of 72 degrees with a low of 50 degrees.
Talk about a drastic weather change from our average 99 degree Texas temperatures.

I am excited to get to our fun-filled adventures and I'll get back to ya when we've made it out of the states!
