Across Lake Como and Up to the Vineyard

Yesterday concluded our stay in Italy. We started off the day cruising around Lake Como on a guided  boat tour where our tour guide, Roberta, showed us imoportant landmarks and villas around the lake (Even George Clooney's).  We were lucky enough to be emmersed into Italian Culture by a traveling group of Italian Folk singers. The boat guided us to the luxurious spot of Bellagio. We enjoyed the afternoon eating great Italian cuisine and the famous gelato of Italy. This spot is known to attract high-end consumers and the luxury leisure tourist.

Our evening was the best yet. We were lucky enough to take a private tour of the Azienda Agricola Sorsasso Winery led by Daniele Travi. He inherited this profitable business from his family and has been in his family since the 1700's. We learned about the history of local products and the process of fermentation. Other important things we learned in concern to food and beverage (an important and vital part of hospitality) is how to store and serve wine. We enjoyed an Italian family style dinner as a group which was filled with laughter and reminiscing of the trip thus far!

We have arrived in Switzerland and are completely amazed by the views outside our hotel windows! Off to Mount Titlis tomorrow.. SNOW DAY!

As Heidi Klum would say, Auf Wiedersehen!

Watch the video of out singing friends!
