The London Eye

By: Sydney Baker

On our first free day, we went and did the typical tourist activities; the London Eye, London Dungeon, and Madame Tussauds. Out of the three, I would suggest all but the London Dungeon. It was interesting because they told the history of the ugly side of London back in the 1800's or so, but the rest was like a haunted house/tour through rooms. And the group that we went through the tour with consisted of a bunch of middle schoolers. In other words, they were loud and immature. Madame Tussauds was amazing, in my opinion, because of the realistic qualities of the wax figures. It was exciting to take pictures of everything and I was very impressed. The London Eye, though, was my favorite. It was amazing to be set so high above the city, suspended to see miles across all of the beautiful buildings. The pictures I took were beautiful views and the sun was out, so that made it evern more memorable. We were lucky that the weather decided to stay calm that day while we were out and about.
