Foie Gras, Castle and Wine Tour

Day 4 - OMG, we ahve only been here 3 day and we have seen so much and have been on the go, it's great we will rest when we go back to Canada.ha
Today is exciting with so much to do, especially since we are in one of the best wine regions Alsace and it is harvest time in the vineyards. But first we are off to the Foie Gras production location where we will learn about Foie Gras and Foie de Canard to have a taste pared with a glass of wine. Foie Gras is goose liver.



Next stop on our journey is the Haunt-Koenigsbourg Castle up in the mountains just outside of Orschwiller, France
Where we have a guided tour of a 12th Century Castle.
