Monaco Day 5

Leaving Avignon, we headed to Moncao to visit former GSU graduate, Bhavin Patel, at the International University of Monaco where we learned about the Masters programs offered. IUM specilaizes in Luxury Goods and Services to train and equip their students for life long careers in the luxury hospitality business market. There is no other university of its kind and it was such an honor to learn about their unique courses but also the experiences of a life time gained by the extracirrcular activities.

After a short visit at IUM, we took a hike up to the Prince's Palace of Monaco. Yes, the Prince does in fact live there today. Our tour included an audio guided walk through the palace to receive insight on how the royalty live still today but with the artwork and furniture of the past. Unfortunately, no pictures were allowed to be taken so you will just have to make the trip on your own.. Trust us, it's worth it!

After spending the day in Moncao watching the set-up for the Grand Prix and multitude of yachts glide along the beautiful blue Mediterranean waters, we lightly resisted the bus trip back to Eze after our hours in Monaco. Although the cliff-side village was the place of our second group dinner named Le Nid d' Aigle where we enjoyed fresh salmon, baked bread, and other local French fare. It was delicous and we  extremely enjoyed the quiet "museum village".

Tonight is our first night in Nice! We are all getting rested for our much anticpated day in Cannes where the annual and nationally known Cannes Film Festival is being held currently!

Night Night from Nice!
