We woke up bright and early in our professional dress and went to a beautiful little town in Gunsbach, France where we went to the Albert Schweitzer Museum. We learned about the interesting life Albert Schweitzer who won a nobel peace prize for his medical work in Gabon
Next we went to the University Medical Center in Freiburg where we learned about nursing and talked to nursing students in Germany. We had a great time! We learned a lot about the similarities and difference of nursing. The thing that really shocked me the most is that nurses there can have up to 20 patients to care for!!
Afterward we had a delicious farewell diner!
