Today, we were suppose to go up to Mount Titlis on the rotair but unfortunately, the wind was too strong. But not to worry though, we will be going up to the mountain on Tuesday. Hopefully, the weather permits. Instead, we had our lecture in the hotel meeting room. Peter, the marketing director for Mount Titlis, came to talk to us about sustainability in Engelberg and on Mount Titlis. He touched on the different initiatives they take to reduce pollution, to recycle, and to keep Engelberg clean and beautiful. It was definitely an interesting lecture and really made us think about how we are in America.
The beautiful hotel we have been staying at.
Some of the best spaghetti I have had during lunch today.
Where we had dinner tonight. It is a 300 year old cabin.
This dish was amazing! It was made of pasta, onions, potatoes, and cheese.
Apple mouse was a great compliment to the dish. This is a famous dish after a long day of skiing.
You may not be able to tell but this is blue toilet paper.
And there was blue paper towels.
Then after dinner, we walked on a path down the mountain by candlelight.
This is our hotel from the outside during night.
Today was filled with lots of yummy food and beautiful views! Switzerland will definitely be great. Tomorrow we will be in professional attire all day to visit the KKL convention center and the Casino in Lucerne.
Auf Wiedersehen!
